Replit

Public servants building their own tools
About
Replit for Government lets the people who know what a community needs turn that knowledge into working software themselves. Program staff, analysts, caseworkers and clerks describe the tool in plain language and Replit Agent plans it, builds it, tests it and fixes it, so an idea reaches a clickable prototype or a working app before a formal project would normally start. The everyday uses are the ones that currently wait on a contract: internal tools, case trackers, request forms, inventory and scheduling apps, data dashboards for leadership and budget hearings, reports and briefing decks on the organization's own template, and modern front ends over aging systems. IT keeps the control it needs alongside that speed, with SSO/SAML against the identity provider the organization already runs, SCIM provisioning that follows joiners, movers and leavers, role-based access deciding who builds, publishes or only views, administrator-set data policies and one admin view for seats, teams, projects and policies. Public servants across 25 US states and more than 20 countries build on it, and the government team walks security and compliance staff through architecture, data handling and controls as part of a review.
