Subprocessors
The companies that handle data for GovWire, what each of them does, and what they can see. A subprocessor is a third party we rely on to run the platform: the hosts, the payment rails, the newsletter tool and the analytics we are permitted to run.

Who handles what
Every service below is in use today. Where a service only applies to some visitors, the condition is stated in the note rather than left implied.
Application platform: hosting, database, sign-in, file storage and the AI gateway
Data it handles: Account details, everything stored in your workspace, uploaded files, and the prompts sent to the AI features
GovWire is built and hosted on Base44.
Card payment processing for GovWire Pro subscriptions
Data it handles: Name, email, billing address, card details entered on the checkout page, and transaction records
Card numbers are entered on the payment provider's own checkout page, never on GovWire.
Hosted checkout for partner listings and research purchases
Data it handles: Name, email, billing address, card details entered on the checkout page, and transaction records
Used for the buy links on the Exchange and research pages.
AI model providers
United States
The language and image models GovWire's AI features run on, reached through the Base44 AI gateway
Data it handles: Prompts and the content they are written from: company sites, news headlines and the brand details in your profile
Requests are sent through the gateway; GovWire does not hold provider accounts of its own.
Sending the All About the Mission newsletter
Data it handles: Email address and, when you give it, your name; open and click activity on the newsletter
Only applies once someone subscribes to the newsletter.
Website visitor analytics
Data it handles: Pages viewed, referring source, device and browser details, and a cookie identifier
Off unless you choose Accept all on the cookie prompt.
Typefaces served to the browser
Data it handles: IP address and browser details, as with any request for a web font
Fonts only. No analytics cookies come with them.

Why there is a list
GovWire is a product of Fossa Labs, LLC. Running it means other companies handle some of the data on our behalf. Each one is named here, with what it does and what it can see, so there is nothing to guess at.
What they are allowed to do
A subprocessor handles data only to deliver the service listed against its name. It cannot use GovWire's data for its own marketing, and it cannot resell it.
Nothing is sold
GovWire does not sell personal data. No subprocessor on this page buys it from us, and none of them is given more than the service needs.
When this page changes
If a new service starts handling data, it is added here. The list is reviewed whenever the stack changes, and the date at the top moves with it.
